1,000 ways to visualize with dots

What is the mood in the group? Which item on the agenda is the clear favorite? You can create clarity with a visualization. You don't need great drawing skills to do this. In many situations, simple aids such as the Neuland evaluation points are completely sufficient. The dots are available in blue, green, orange, red and assorted colors. The dots are also available in white for you to design yourself.

How are you feeling today?

One point

Participants answer a question with a dot and thus contribute to the overall picture. For example, the answer to the question: "How are you today?" This can be done silently or backed up with an explanation: "I am putting my rating point here because I feel really comfortable with this group and this topic today".

Several points

To weight topics, use the multi-point question. The participants receive several points and distribute them among the various options.

To determine the number of points per participant, e.g. for a vote, divide the topics by two.
4 topics : 2 = 2 evaluation points
If the result does not give a whole point, round up.
5 topics : 2 = 2.5 > 3 evaluation points
If you want to exclude mutual influence, carry out an invisible vote. Participants write the number of the point they want to vote for directly on the point. They collect the points and stick them in the appropriate place.

Simplify complex issues

It is best to divide complex topics into individual points. This allows you to view and evaluate these topics individually. The sum of all individual points gives the total for the entire topic
