Whiteboard markers bleed through paper very easily, which is why the ink runs out much faster. The tip of the marker also wears down more quickly.

It is best to wash your hands immediately with soap and water before the ink dries.
Hand sanitizer contains stronger solvents and can be used for cleaning. Nail polish remover is also recommended by some customers.

Success in removing unwanted ink stains always depends on several factors, primarily, of course, on the type of material stained. Unfortunately, there is no magic formula.

With clothing, it can be helpful to pre-treat it to dissolve the ink and then wash it. Gall soap or stain remover spray are suitable for pre-treatment. Some customers have reported that spraying hairspray on the stain dissolves the ink and makes it easy to wash out.

There are no markers specifically designed for left-handers, but with this trick you can set up any No.One marker for left-handers:
Use tweezers to turn the tip of the marker until it fits comfortably in your hand and the position of the grip recesses is right for you.

Yes, you can. Our water-based inks can be mixed together. Test newly mixed colors on paper first before filling them into the marker, as they may look different in the refill bottles.

Please note that only tips of the same type should be used as replacements (do not use wedge tips in markers that came with round tips!), otherwise problems with ink flow may occur. How exactly does the replacement process work? Take a look at this short film to.

With the transparent empty marker, you can see exactly what is going on inside when refilling. Once you have filled it with ink, you can use it as usual. Some of our customers even mix their own favorite colors to fill our empty markers.
Here you will find detailed instructions.

We have discontinued our refill service.
Tip: Keep the marker packaging and use it as a refill station!

Gray tones are predominantly used for shading. The color code 101 gray is most commonly selected.

The Outliner (color code 010) consists of a special water-based ink that does not smudge or blur when you paint over it with another marker. It is particularly suitable for contours that remain clean and sharp when colored in later. This is different from "normal black" (color code 100): here, the black lines can smudge and become messy when colored in later.

Under no circumstances should you write on a whiteboard with markers that are suitable for paper! Among other things, they smudge and are difficult or impossible to remove.

No. The broad tip of the BigOne cannot absorb alcohol-based ink as well as water-based ink. In addition, alcohol evaporates quickly, causing the marker to dry out after a short time. We cannot guarantee that the marker will function permanently.

The ink composition can cause clogging if residual ink remains in the needle or filling bellows. Therefore, when filling the outliner, be sure to rinse the pipette thoroughly with clean water after each use. Afterwards, the bellows and needle should be free of ink residue.
If the bellows is definitely stuck, please contact us. We can send you a replacement bellows.
