1.Rule: Write with the wide edge of the pen
This makes the texts much easier to read.
2ndrule: Divide the writing height into 5 parts.
3/5 is the middle length
1/5 is the top length
1/5 is the bottom length
3rdrule:Writewith large and small letters.Rule: Writing with large and small letters.
We are used to large and small letters. That is why the eye can read texts written with small and large letters much better than texts consisting of nothing but CAPITAL LETTERS.
4thrule: Write without squiggles.
Do not use squiggly or "Schnüerli" writing. Instead, write each letter clearly next to each other. This is much easier to read than fonts with a personal touch.
5thrule: Write the letters close together.
If you put the letters close together, you create a block of words. And these blocks of words are much easier for the human eye to grasp.
That's it for the 5 rules for writing legibly on flipcharts. You can find more informative videos on our YouTube channel and here in the blog.
